Terms & Conditions

• Social Media Management Engagement

By signing and returning the Registration Form, you understand and agree that the Registration Form, together with these Terms & Conditions, forms a Month to Month contract between you and THE BLACKBIRD MEDIA COMPANY.

• Investment and Payment

1. First payment will be taken on receipt of your registration form and an initial telephone meeting will be arranged between both parties to discuss requirements and processes.
2. If additional extras are selected, payment will be deducted in line with this agreement.
3. Payment must be made by means and amount specified in the Registration Form.
4. Your investment entitles you to, but is not limited to: a. A Month to Month social media plan b. Creation and management of your Facebook and LinkedIn company pages.
5. Creating and sourcing external content for your social media platforms d. Posting of pre-approved content on your social media platforms. $150 advertising credit for boosting Facebook posts used within in the Month to Month contract period.
6. On a monthly basis, you will be expected to communicate and approve appropriate external content within three business days of receiving this content from THE BLACKBIRD MEDIA COMPANY. You can opt out of the pre-approval process and can change or delete as required.

• Plan “Extras”

1. A credit of $50 will be used to boost post on Facebook extending the reach and promoting your firm. This credit can be split into amounts required depending on demographic chosen but cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash and must be used for boosting Facebook posts. Any amount not used within the initial Month to Month period is also not exchangeable for cash and cannot be claimed. 2. Any of the “Extras” options (Twitter, YouTube, Blog, Newsletter content creation, Google+, or help with website creation/management) will have an extra charge associated with them. Any charges over and above your contractual Month to Month payment plan will be discussed prior to any payment being taken. 3. EDM (Electronic Digital Marketing) is an “Extras” option that will be discussed in the first quarter and will incur a $50 charge for each campaign sent on your behalf through our own email client account. Should a monthly account be set up on your behalf with our email client you will be responsible for the monthly costs of your account. Charges will be determined upon number of subscribers held in your database on the email client’s server.

• Duration of Service

1. Your contract is non-refundable and the services are non-transferable. 2. Your initial contract is for a Month to Month period. Should you not wish to engage with THE BLACKBIRD MEDIA COMPANY beyond the Month to Month period, 30 days written notice must be given. If we do not receive this written notice, your contract will automatically roll to the next month agreement and we will deduct payment from your supplied credit card accordingly. This rolling contract can be cancelled at any time with 30 days written notice prior to the current contracted quarter’s end. No refund of any part of the quarter will be given.

• Refunds and Termination

1. Upon receipt of your signed Registration Form you are committing to a Month to Month contract, THE BLACKBIRD MEDIA COMPANY is under no obligation to provide a cancellation or refund of this agreement after this point. Requests to end the contracted Monthly period can be negotiated in exceptional circumstances. 2. Your initial agreement is for a Month to Months period, should you not wish to engage with THE BLACKBIRD MEDIA COMPANY beyond your Month to Months period, 30 days written notice must be given. 3. Termination of subsequent quarterly agreement; 30 days written notice must be given before your next scheduled payment. 4. You acknowledge that you shall not be entitled to claim a refund if you cancel your agreement outside the stipulated Refunds & Termination terms. You further acknowledge that this is an essential term of this agreement on which we rely.
